Upon obtaining her teaching credentials from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore as well as the University of London, United Kingdom, Kiranjit Kaur embarked on her lifelong career as an educator. She has since taught in three very cosmopolitan cities – Singapore, Dubai and Shanghai – and her exposure to a plethora of educational systems and methods, including the IB, British, American and Singaporean educational systems has been most enriching. In her 15 years at the Shanghai Singapore International School, Kiranjit was not only the English Head of Department but also the Editor-in-Chief for the campus’s publications and actively involved in such charities as Roots & Shoots for environmental awareness, SCAA and JAR, in addition to numerous fund-raising for tsunami-hit countries. Kiranjit is currently working towards her Masters in Education with an endorsement in the English Language Arts and Special Educational Needs. Indeed, she continues to strive to keep abreast with global educational systems while maintaining our unique Singaporean rigour. In her 19 years as an educator, for Kiranjit…”It just keeps getting better!”
