As September sweeps into Singapore, the monsoon season arrives with it, drenching the island in frequent, sudden downpours. The skies shift from bright to stormy in minutes, casting the city in shades of grey. Streets glisten under heavy clouds, and umbrellas pop open in the hurried rush to classes. It’s exam season, and alongside the rain, a steady downpour of textbooks, notes, and final assignments fills the lives of students.

In the cool, rain-soaked afternoons of the September holidays, study spaces become sanctuaries, where the sounds of raindrops on windows accompany the quiet focus of exam preparation. The susurrating precipitation echoes the mental grind of revision, as young minds work through the storm toward the Zen of exam completion.
